Things are almost set for the November 1 opening of The Village. So many pompoms have been made, the hands are complete, the entire composition is mapped out on the latch hook canvas, pompoms are sorted into individual bags, and the online auction is being set up today!
My original intent was for The Village to be completed (pompoms in place) during the weekend of November 1-3, but I don’t think that’s very realistic! I also believe the community who started The Village should also be the community who finishes it, so the deadline for the entire piece is December 15. It will be exhibited at Tube Factory for January’s First Friday–January 3!
The online auction for all 13 panels runs October 31, 2024-January 3, 2025.
