*UPDATE* NEW DATES!!! I’ll be at SPARK: on the circle Friday, October 25, 5-7 pm and Monday-Thursday, October 28-31, 3-7 pm making pompoms! Come on out and say hi, learn how to mass produce pompoms for your own activities, and enjoy this lovely fall weather 🙂

“The Village” is a community art piece happening November 1-3 while Taylor Swift is in town! It is 24′ long and 8′ tall at the center point and is made from 13 latch hook canvases of various sizes covered in pompoms to create a colorful composition. See the image below. The hands will be done with the latch hook process–how people make rugs! The rest of the imagery will be made of pompoms and friendship bracelets.

Come join us for a three day gala event Nov 1-3 from 12-5 pm! We will attach the pompoms to the canvases to finish the piece. Afterwards, the individual panels will be sold in a silent auction to raise money for ,Arts for Learning Indiana, Big Car Collaborative, and Ivy Tech Art Department Fall Creek.

From September 4 until October 25, Pompom Parties occurred every Wednesday from 11 am-2pm, and Saturday 10 am-1 pm at SPARK: on the Circle in preparation for the big November event where we all put pompoms on the canvas!
A little explanation of what, why, and who this is for!
